We have several great areas within the hotel suitable for function events including the South Terrace Balcony, Freemasons Room, 1854 Room and the Market Side Bar. South Terrace Balcony
The South Terrace Balcony is the ideal spot to host an after work Sundowner with colleagues whilst watching one of the many beautiful sunsets. If you prefer the after dark scene, sit back with friends and soak up the exciting Fremantle nightlife with one of our many exceptional beers or a glass of bubbly.
freemasons room
The Freemasons Room has a simple and elegant open-plan design with a great atmosphere for an upbeat cocktail party or casual celebration. There is plenty of comfy furniture to lounge around on and direct access to the Market Side Balcony. We turn it up on Friday and Saturday nights with live music and artists spinning the decks in the Freemasons Room and out on the balcony.

Room 1854 is the Sail and Anchor’s private function room upstairs. With its own private bar & section of the South Terrace Balcony, it is the perfect place to hold milestone birthdays, anniversaries and engagements.
market side bar
The Market Side Bar is your own personal chunk of the Main Bar. It faces the Fremantle Markets and gets you in amongst all the activity. On Friday and Saturday nights you can relax and listen to the band playing in the main bar. The best part? Full access to our huge range of bottle beers, wine, spirits and of course, our amazing tap beers.
